Koda The Lychee Guadrian

The legend of the “Guardians of the Garden” or “The Fruit Crafters” depending on the area of land or origin is a story that has been around for centuries.
The legend tells that if you have had a drought and have no fruit to supply the family. The guardians of the garden will come during the night and craft a surplus of fruit for the garden of the family, nobody has ever captured one of these mysterious animals but they are not shy people have seen these creatures long enough to get some sketches down of their appearance.
These Guardians have a round head with huge mouse-like ears; on top of their foreheads is a distinct crest that no other has, although they do not have arms but just thick powerful bat-like wings. On their stomach there is a white belly with 5 circles circling another circle in the middle, The 5 circles are any random combination of colors* But there will never be a guardian with the same stomach color pallet! *, the center circle is always the color of the fruit that are able to create. The body itself can also be one to three colors at a time the fur may change color over the seasons. The tail is long with any kind of fin-like shape at the end of its tail, lastly their feet have two paws instead of three with a middle sol with no padding at the top of the paws.
Each guardian can only craft one kind of fruit. One guardian is able to produce over 27 baskets of fruit in a single day. Although being a nightly creature it is only able to produce 12 baskets in a night.
-Guardians are very accustoming to flying but if necessary they are able to walk upright in a waddle type movement.-
Guardians are very loving and gentile towards humans and enjoy helping them. But if they scene danger they will scurry off into small tree nooks. Guardians prefer to live in “families” usually consisting of three or more Guardians. It’s not unusual to find them alone in their tree nooks. These creatures do not mate, only the Queen will produce a child. She will usually choose one of the male Guardians from another colony to mate for life. The queen will only produce three Guardians every seven years. The queen does not live in a tree nook like the other creatures she lives in the depths of the rose bush deep into the forest of your wildest dreams. No man has ever seen the queen she is said to never leave her home, but there have been paintings of the mystical white queen with her 5 circles being black with a yellow/green star in the center instead of a circle. The queen is the only Guardian who is able to produce the Carambola (Star fruit). Her necklace is said to be silver with cloud berries hanging off them.
No one has seen a Guardian create the fruit or knows how it’s done; most people claim they conjure the fruit with the magic crest on their forehead. But there is no evidence or conformation of this action. As for food, they love to eat the fruit they conjured up or if there is no fruit available they love to eat acorns, sugar peas, carrots, parsley, and milk weeds. They do not hibernate in the winter like a lot of animals, even though most fruit dose not grow in the winter they store what they can find in their homes. The Guardians never seem to stay in one home to long people believe it is because of the weather they fly off to a warmer climate to help other people in need.
Most Guardians are an average o 4-10 inches depending on the area on where they are living their life span is 60-90 years. Except the queen, their queen is about 2 or 3 feet. It is said that their living is like a bee’s nature, also like all animals guardians have a way of communication to one another but it is not able to be heard by humans or demons alike.
It is almost impossible to see these creatures in the light due to their nocturnal instinct. However around midnight if these creatures eat the fruit they create they will light up and glow like a lantern. Due to the fact the Guardians are said to travel in groups in of ten or more sometimes less depending on what is growing in that garden. Finding a Guardian after midnight shouldn’t be so hard with them glowing in a group like a firefly three times its size.
Many people wait their whole life waiting to catch a chance to see the Guardians, some people even build statues to welcome and praise the creatures hoping to get a chance to examine these exotic mythical dragon-like creatures.


As for these Guardians they are just something I thought would be cool to create like a new breed of creature Anyways my Guardians Of The Fruit name is Koda *Named after my dear friend Dakota who just passed * she is dark blue with her crest being gold. The marking on her stomach are (in clockwise order) Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple, With Pink in the center The fin at the end of her tail is a soft baby blue. Koda Is able to create Leachy berries, a sweet pink fruit grown in tropical islands. Although she lives alone she collects shiny pieces she finds in the forest. She is exactly 14 inches from ear to foot, In her life span she is 29 years into her life. Kodas’s speed while running is 23MPH.

This plush stands in at 15 inches is 100% minky and she has wire in her wings and can stand on her own ^.^

*Any Guardian can be any color
*NOBODY can have the same color scheme for the belly (ex. Nobody can have a Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple(in that order) stomach pattern
*They can have the same center color (because some fruits are the same color)
*The can have any kind of decoration at the fin but again its one of a kind nobody can have the same thing
*The crest HAS to be unique not some toxic waste symbol or an angel wing ect please if you’re going to make an Oc Guardian put some creativity in it
*Do NOT give them arms
